mix masters: summer (picnic) tablescaping

Here's the scoop. It is summer. THIS is the season of all seasons to hit the easy button. You can't run away from color right now even if you tried! My philosophy on tablescaping everyday, but especially in summer, is to keep it super simple. Like oh-I-just-woke-up-like-this simple. 

Let the food, flowers, green grass, blue skies, and clear waters be the stars. Layer a couple of classic fabrics in the same palette and play with scale to create some texture and depth. This is a great time to use your white serveware and glass pitchers and carafes to let all those saturated colors come through.
