one thing, three ways: buffalo plaid

The black and white buffalo plaid is our version of the black and white houndstooth. It is incredibly bold, but somehow it can work as the perfect non-neutral neutral. This print has been showing up for some time in both fashion and home. I love when a print is having such a moment that we can see it across the whole spectrum from runway to high end home to discount retailers and everything in between. There is just no denying that she is having a serious moment. If you are in a meh place about it, there are so (soooo) many options out there right now to dabble. The home accessories really abound. However, don't despair,  the saturation of this print has reminded us that there are some really great and timeless applications that can truly take a space from blah to boooom!

Maximalist Pattern Lover
When a space is full of color full pattern, it is nice to inject moments of visual rest. This will keep the eye moving around the space and keep us out of the land of sensory overload. When this pattern is delivered at a large scale it really does the trick.
